49ers Sign OL Erving To Practice Squad
The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed OL Cameron Erving to the team’s practice squad.
Erving (6-5, 313) was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns as the 19th overall selection of the 2015 NFL Draft. Throughout his 10-year NFL career with the Browns (2015-16), Kansas City Chiefs (2017-19), Dallas Cowboys (2020), Carolina Panthers (2021-22), New Orleans Saints (2023) and Houston Texans (2024), Erving has appeared in 98 games (58 starts) along the offensive line. In 2024, Erving spent time on the Texans practice squad prior to being released from Houston’s practice squad on November 20.
A 32-year-old native of Moultrie, GA, Erving attended Florida State University (2010-15) where he appeared in 29 games as both a defensive and offensive lineman and registered 22 tackles and 1.0 sack.
