49ers Sign DB Lenoir To Five-Year Extension
The San Francisco 49ers today announced that the team has signed DB Deommodore Lenoir to a five-year extension through the 2029 season.
Lenoir (5-10, 200) was originally selected by the 49ers in the fifth round (172nd overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. Over the past four seasons (2021-24), he has appeared in 56 games (41 starts) and registered 227 tackles, 23 passes defensed, six interceptions, 1.0 sack and one forced fumble. He has also started in six postseason contests and added 24 tackles, two interceptions, two passes defensed and one forced fumble. In 2024, Lenoir has recorded 53 tackles, six passes defensed, two interceptions and one forced fumble over nine games. His six passes defensed and two interceptions are tied for the most on the team.
A 25-year-old native of Los Angeles, CA, Lenoir attended the University of Oregon for four seasons (2017-20) where he appeared in 47 games (34 starts) and recorded 154 tackles, six interceptions, 27 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. As a senior in 2020, he earned Associated Press Second-Team All-Pac-12 honors after starting in seven games and recording 30 tackles, one interception, one pass defensed and one forced fumble.
